MEET OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Angie Barkhouse
(Promo Advisor & Producer) Angie grew up in Gig Harbor. She first joined EP over 25 years ago during the first production of Anne of Green Gables. She has also appeared in other EP productions such as Sound of Music, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and most recently in Anne of Green Gables in 2012. Angie has also worked with EP behind the scenes for various shows in a variety of areas: costumes, promo, music, photography and is a welcome soloist for our company anytime. She has BA in media/communications and enjoys traveling in her free-time. She currently lives in Redmond along with her husband Craig and her kitties Alistair and Lila. |
Sharon Cantrill
(Co-Founder, Artistic Director & Executive Producer) Sharon has appeared with Lakewood Players, Performance Circle, Tacoma Actors Guild and on the stage at PLU (where she received a BFA in Theatre and Secondary Education), as well as working backstage in various capacities on more than 90 productions. She has appeared with us in Godspell, Anne of Green Gables, Angels, HiTops and Tom Sawyer. Our recent production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer & Huck Finn marks her debut in full musical writing (and re-writing), and she looks forward to creating other musicals in the future. She has committed her talents to the vision of Christian drama and has been the director of this company for thirty years. She is an active member of Peninsula Lutheran Church, where her favorite ministry is producing VBS and children’s evangelism. In her spare time, she enjoys embroidering, quilting, movies, reading and writing. She is working on a project with the C.S. Lewis foundation bringing the rest of the Chronicles of Narnia to the stage in the near future. Her favorite things about EP are the caring fellowship, being able to see how the members grow in their faith and witnessing many miracles. |
Christina Watson-Foreman
(Prayer Warrior & Producer) Chris came to our company via our audience fifteen years ago and has been with us ever since. She has studied Children’s Theatre and Directing at the University of Illinois and has been in and directed numerous church productions. She currently attends Life Center in Tacoma. She’s worked tirelessly to make sure that many children have had a mother’s touch fostering in her home. In her spare time, she works for the Pierce County Assessor Treasurer’s Office. She has become an essential member of our Touring Company and has appeared in many of our productions including Widow Douglas in our previous production of Tom Sawyer, Mrs. Macready in Narnia, Mrs. Snow in Pollyanna and Mrs. Atwood in The Kids of Bristol. Chris is also in leadership for Koinonia of Washington and nurtures other Christians. For EP, Chris is an essential part of our Board and provides the laughter both on stage and off. Her hobbies include reading and attending movies. She is a proud mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. She looks forward to retirement when she and Gary can travel and constantly have fun times. |
John Martinson
(Technical Director) John became our beloved Tech Director in 2003 during HiTops, and we’ve been blessed by him ever since. John has a B.S in Engineering and works for Tacoma City Light where he is the Supervising Electrical Engineer for Transmissions and Distribution. He is an essential member of One Hope Church in Gig Harbor and enjoys doing tech work for many ministries and arts groups. His hobbies are varied from snowboarding (and teaching it), skiing, bicycling, videography and production, watching sci-fi/comic book movies and being on the church softball league. John’s future goals include having time to pursue his passions – film, snowboarding and bicycling across the country. While we haven’t seen John on stage – his favorite role is being husband and father to three lovely ladies and blessing his folks. John keeps his sense of humor at all times and is a great role model for our youth. |
Sara Sacapanio
(Musical Director, Administrative Manager & Producer) Sara is the example of being the hands and feet of Jesus and creatively reaching out to others. Her “day job” is being the Office Manager at First Baptist Church of Lakewood where she also is part of the Worship Team and helps wherever else is needed. She just graduated this spring with her Marketing Degree and is enjoying helping EP with Marketing and Promotions along with music. Sara appeared in her church drama team in junior high school. EP audiences have seen Sara as Mrs. Clayborn in The Kids of Bristol and Paula in HiTops. She loves music and her encouraging personality keep us going. She has beautifully arranged and recorded our music scores for The Kids of Bristol and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer & Huck Finn. She has become an essential part of this ministry. |
